User Interface Devices

Centralized Wired GRMS System

The User Interface Devices form the front-end layer of the Hotel GRMS (Guest Room Management System), enabling guests to conveniently interact with and control various room functions. All user interface devices operate on a safe 12V low-voltage platform and communicate with the Room Control Unit (RCU) through CAT6 cabling.

Whenever a guest interacts with a panel or device, a command is transmitted to the RCU, which processes the request and executes the corresponding action.

Low-Voltage Architecture

All user interface devices in the Fox Domotics GRMS ecosystem operate on a safe low-voltage platform. The Room Control Unit (RCU) serves as the central intelligence of the system. When a guest touches a switch, inserts a keycard, adjusts the thermostat, or interacts with any interface device, the command is sent to the RCU through CAT6 communication wiring. The RCU then processes the command and activates the corresponding load, scene, HVAC function, curtain motor, or room service request.
